These Terms govern your use of the NoSpy app and hiddensec.com. We’ve kept them short, plain and honest — read them once and you’ll know where you stand.

1 · Parties & Agreement

Who this agreement is between.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and HiddenSec (“we”, “us”, “our”), the developer and operator of the NoSpy iOS application and the website at hiddensec.com (collectively, the “Service”).

By downloading, installing, or using NoSpy — or by accessing hiddensec.com — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2 · Eligibility

Who can use NoSpy.

The Service is intended for personal, lawful use by individuals who meet all of the following conditions.

Age — you must be at least 13 years old. Users in jurisdictions that require parental consent for digital services (e.g. COPPA in the US, GDPR in the EU for users under 16) must have that consent before using the Service.

Legal capacity — you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Compliance — you must not be prohibited from receiving the Service under the laws of your country of residence or any other applicable jurisdiction.

Lawful purpose — you must use the Service solely to protect your own privacy or to inspect spaces you have legal authority to inspect. NoSpy must not be used to conduct surveillance of others without their knowledge or consent.

3 · License to Use the App

What we grant you — and what we don’t.

Subject to these Terms, HiddenSec grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the NoSpy app on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

✓ Permitted

  • Download and install NoSpy on your own iPhone
  • Use all detection features within the scope of your plan (Free or Pro)
  • Scan spaces you own, rent, or otherwise have lawful access to
  • Share scan results privately for your own personal records
  • Provide feedback and bug reports to HiddenSec

✕ Not permitted

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or any part of it
  • Use the Service to surveil third parties without consent
  • Circumvent or disable any technical protection measures
  • Use automated tools or scripts to access the Service

4 · Prohibited Uses

What NoSpy must never be used for.

The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your access, as well as civil or criminal liability.

🚫 Unlawful surveillance

Using NoSpy to detect, locate, or monitor devices in spaces you do not have legal authority to inspect, or to surveil individuals without their knowledge and consent.

🚫 Stalking & harassment

Using detection results to track, harass, intimidate, or harm any person. This includes using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi scan data to profile individuals’ movements.

🚫 Commercial exploitation

Reselling access to the Service, incorporating the app or its outputs into a commercial product, or using scan results to offer paid services to third parties.

🚫 Interference & abuse

Attempting to overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any HiddenSec system, server, or network connected to the Service.

⚠ Legal responsibility

Laws governing electronic surveillance, privacy, and device detection vary significantly by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of NoSpy complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws. HiddenSec accepts no liability for unlawful use of the Service.

5 · Subscriptions & Billing

How Pro plans work.

NoSpy is free to download and includes five full scans per day at no cost. Pro plans unlock unlimited scans and additional features, billed through the Apple App Store.

Billing via Apple — all payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. HiddenSec does not store or handle your payment card details. Apple’s own terms apply to all transactions.

Free trial — the Annual Pro plan includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the annual subscription fee.

Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly at $4.99/week or annually at $29.99/year) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Price changes — HiddenSec may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Apple will notify you before any price increase is applied to your renewal.

Refunds — all refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy. Contact Apple Support to request a refund.

6 · Intellectual Property

Everything in NoSpy belongs to HiddenSec.

All rights in and to the Service — including but not limited to the app code, design, user interface, detection algorithms, machine learning models, branding, logos, and all website content — are and remain the exclusive property of HiddenSec or its licensors.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. The limited licence granted in Section 3 is the full extent of your rights in the Service. Any unauthorised use, copying, modification, or distribution of HiddenSec’s intellectual property is prohibited and may give rise to legal claims.

7 · Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

What NoSpy can and cannot guarantee.

We’ve built NoSpy to be as accurate and reliable as possible — but like all detection technology, it has limits. Please read this section carefully.

⚙️ No guarantee of detection

NoSpy detects most consumer-grade hidden cameras and trackers, but cannot guarantee detection of all devices. Professional or custom-built surveillance equipment may not be detected. Always combine the app with a visual inspection.

📱 “As is” service

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

💰 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiddenSec’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to HiddenSec in the 12 months preceding the claim.

🔗 Third-party services

HiddenSec is not responsible for the practices, content, or reliability of third-party services (including Apple, crash reporting providers, or email services) referenced in or used alongside the Service.

Consequential damages: In no event shall HiddenSec be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of privacy, or financial loss — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

8 · Indemnification

Your responsibility for your actions.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HiddenSec and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your use of the Service to surveil or interfere with any third party
  • Any content or data you submit to HiddenSec (e.g. support emails)
  • Your violation of any third party’s rights, including privacy rights

9 · Termination

When and how access ends.

Either party may end this agreement at any time and for any reason.

By you — you may stop using the Service and delete the app at any time. To cancel a Pro subscription, do so via Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the next renewal date.

By us — HiddenSec may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, if we have reason to believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or acted in a way that could harm other users or the Service.

Effect of termination — upon termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, 11 and any accrued rights and obligations survive termination.

10 · Changes to These Terms

How we handle updates to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, the law, or our business practices.

We revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page whenever any change is made.

For material changes, we notify you via an in-app notice or email (Pro subscribers) at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11 · Governing Law & Disputes

Which laws apply and how disputes are resolved.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Before initiating any formal dispute process, we ask that you contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.

Informal resolution first: If you have a dispute with HiddenSec, please email legal@hiddensec.com and describe the issue. We will respond within 14 days and work in good faith to resolve the matter. Formal dispute proceedings should be a last resort.
EU & UK users: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the law of your country of residence. If you are an EU resident, you may also submit a complaint to the Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
